Art on T&C

Essie Turquoise and Caicos with some L.A. Colors white striper. Funky, bright, and a little fun. Any time the weather is stormy I always turn to bright colors.

Zoya Zuza with some flair

You know how it is when you get new polish. You may just change multiple times during the day. It's like trying to pick out clothes. LOL.

Here's Zoya Zuza with a metallic pink striper from Sally Beauty.

Crackle Jelly Sandwich

My order from Zoya arrived in the mail today, and of course I couldn't wait to try one out. This is a base coat, 3 coats of Zoya Frida, one coat of China Glaze Lightning Bolt, and two coats of Zoya Frida again. Topped off with Essie Good to Go.

I like how the crackle looks underneath a jelly more than it does on its own. It feels more like texture to me. I probably wouldn't do so many coats next time. I didn't plan on adding the crackle at first and didn't feel like taking the whole mani off so just layered it all. Not too big of a deal since I will probably change into one of the other two I recently purchased soon: Zoya Caitlin and Zuza.

I apologize for my cuticles as well. I seem to be out of acetone. That is Frida in the bottle, it is far more sheer and light teal when worn.

On another note, my nails are finally growing back out again! Swatches should get better as they grow longer. It seems I color inside the lines a lot better when the page is longer, haha.

Ramped up for Valentine's

They may be stubbins, but I wanted to do some art anyways. This is a Valentine's nail I did on a whim. I used a pale pink and layered with large glitter. I then took a dotting tool to shape the heart and topped it off with a quick dry top coat.
